Description: Part 3  Participants in this training will gain extensive hands-on experience with the HUD-Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Tool (AFFHT) and practice how to generate the necessary census maps and tables. Attendees will also learn best practices for community engagement and key stake holders consultations to identify, set and prioritize fair housing issues and goals. Led by national fair housing planning experts, attendees will utilize the latest tools to implement the Consolidated Planning process through a Fair Housing lens that develops healthy and inclusive communities in compliance with the Fair Housing Act.
